Club sandwich: layers of turkey, ham, bacon, lettuce, tomato, cheese – it’s just delicious!

Ingredients

  • 3 slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or your preference)
  • 2 slices of cooked bacon
  • 2 slices of turkey breast
  • 2 slices of ham
  • 1 slice of cheddar cheese
  • 1 large tomato, thinly sliced
  • 2 leaves of lettuce
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Toothpicks (optional)

Instructions

  1. Toast the Bread: Lightly toast the three slices of bread until golden brown.
  2. Prepare the Ingredients:
    • Cook the bacon until crispy and drain on paper towels.
    • Slice the tomato and prepare the lettuce leaves.
  3. Assemble the Sandwich:
    • Lay one slice of toasted bread on a clean surface.
    • Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on one side.
    • Place the lettuce leaf on the mayonnaise, followed by the turkey breast and a slice of tomato.
    • Season with salt and pepper.
    • Add the second slice of toasted bread on top. Spread mayonnaise on one side.
    • Layer the ham, bacon, and cheddar cheese on top of this second slice. Add another slice of tomato and a lettuce leaf.
    • Top with the final piece of toasted bread, spread with mayonnaise on the inside.
  4. Secure and Slice: If desired, secure the sandwich layers with toothpicks inserted at the corners.
    Using a sharp knife, cut the sandwich diagonally into quarters.
  5. Serve: Plate the sandwich quarters and serve immediately with your choice of side, like pickles or chips.
