Our story
Beanto started as a personal project by Edith 7 years ago. As a native Hong Konger, she wanted to follow her passion for veggie-forward cooking. This led her to become a chef in London, where she’s excited to be surrounded by new ideas and cultures. She’s here to learn how to cook with care, handle ingredients properly, and explore what food really means — from farming to sustainability. London feels like the perfect place to grow.
She started out in brand and event management, but was always curious about healthy, plant-based eating. What began as an exploration of vegan culture slowly grew into a broader philosophy of plant-forward, healthy living.
Now, Edith is a chef in London who wants to share what she’s learning — all the little happy moments. She’s exploring new flavours, ingredients, and fresh ideas everywhere.
Join us on the journey — to marinate in all the herbs and spices, taste cherry vinegars, forage elderflowers and fig leaves together, and grow with the yeast.
